Via Spadari 3

Noted also as “Casa Ferrario” (Ferrario’s House), it was designed and built in 1905 by Eng./Arch. Ernesto Pirovano (1866-1934), who engaged Alessandro Mazzucotelli (one of the major exponents of the Liberty Style) to carry out the decoration of the balconies, enriching them with flowers and animals in wrought iron. Thus, one of the most elegant Liberty Style buildings took form and is without doubt among the most representative of the Liberty architecture of the Milan period. In 1970 the building was bought and restructured by AMBRA NUOVA S.p.A. (a company of the group)
